LS-BC1 Automatic Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter
Automatic oxygen bomb calorimeter for coal, coke, biomass and compatible fuel samples, with electronic cooling, automatic water control and a test cycle below 15 minutes under specified conditions. Complements DSC and TGA in thermal analysis laboratories.
Automated Water Control
Automatic water-temperature adjustment and water-quantity control reduce repeated manual setup during routine combustion calorimetry.
Electronic Cooling
An electronically refrigerated temperature-control system supports successive measurements within the confirmed operating conditions.
Routine Fuel Testing
The listed instrument cycle is below 15 minutes under specified conditions; daily throughput also depends on preparation, loading and cleaning.
Bomb Leak-Check Support
Leak-check support helps the operator verify the assembled bomb before testing, alongside the documented inspection and operating procedure.
Self-Diagnostic Functions
Built-in self-protection and diagnostic functions assist fault identification and routine maintenance of the calorimeter system.
Computer-Based Records
The computer and printer configuration is selected with the required software language, result fields and laboratory documentation.

Application & Selection Guide
Gross calorific value for fuel and materials laboratories
The LS-BC1 complements thermal analysis with combustion heat measurement. Define the sample, conditioning and weighing procedure, calibration material, correction inputs and reporting basis before selecting a configuration. Heat-capacity precision and temperature resolution describe different instrument properties and should not be substituted for calorific-value accuracy.
What should I include in an LS-BC1 quotation request?
Send the sample type, expected calorific value, daily sample count, required standard and edition, reporting basis, software language, voltage and destination. Specify computer, printer, oxygen supply equipment, consumables and calibration-document requirements.
Does the 15-minute figure include sample preparation?
No. It is the listed instrument test cycle under specified conditions. Sampling, weighing, bomb preparation, oxygen charging, cleaning and laboratory checks require additional time.
Is 0.0001 K the measurement accuracy?
No. It is temperature resolution. The listed heat-capacity precision is ≤0.15%; calorific-value performance must be verified using the selected method and reference material.
Which methods should I specify?
Identify the governing coal, coke, biomass or liquid-fuel method and its edition. ASTM D5865 addresses coal and coke gross calorific value; suitability for the requested edition and sample must be confirmed with the instrument configuration and verification records.
Can I order this as an ISO 1716 building-product system?
ISO 1716 compatibility is not established for this listing. A building-product project needs a separate review of sample preparation, accessories, calibration, calculations and documentation before that method can be quoted.
What does automatic operation cover?
The listed automation covers water-temperature and water-quantity control and the measurement sequence. Automatic sample loading, oxygen charging, bomb handling and cleaning are not specified; confirm the operator workflow and supplied accessories in the quotation.
