Three-Dimensional Mixing Action
A purpose-designed paddle path produces simultaneous axial and radial material movement, generating complex circulation that reduces unmixed zones in the vessel.
Combined Revolution and Paddle Rotation
The mixing assembly revolves around the vessel center while the paddle rotates at higher speed, applying controlled shear suited to dense asphalt mixtures.
Aggregate Gradation Protection
The vertical dual-motion mixing path is designed to reduce the risk of coarse aggregate becoming trapped and crushed between the mixing tool and vessel wall. Limiting unintended particle breakage helps preserve the intended aggregate gradation and supports more representative laboratory mixtures.
Oil-Bath Heating
The jacketed vessel uses heat-transfer oil to deliver efficient temperature rise and reduce the time required to bring the batch to its mixing condition.
PID Temperature Control
PT100 temperature feedback and a PID control module regulate the circulating heat-transfer medium to maintain the mixture temperature within ±3°C.
Interlocked Operator Protection
