The LS-WAT-1 utilizes the classic Dean-Stark distillation method, ensuring that any water molecules in the bitumen specimen are precisely co-distilled with a water-immiscible solvent, captured, and measured with high volumetric accuracy.
High-Borosilicate Metrology
Equipped with specialized 500mL flasks and 10mL receivers made from high-borosilicate glass. The graduation hierarchy (0.03mL to 0.2mL divisions) allows for the rigorous determination of even trace amounts of water content.
Optimized Thermal Stability
The sleeve-type electric heating mantle provides uniform heat distribution to the distillation flask, preventing localized overheating and ensuring a steady reflux rate as required by international bitumen testing protocols.
